The College is committed to ensuring that pharmacy business practices do not interfere with the wellbeing of pharmacy professionals or their ability to meet the Standards of Practice or Code of Ethics. For more information on how we are addressing corporate pressures, please visit our Quality First: Addressing Business Pressures on Pharmacy Practice webpage.
How Can You Share Your Experience With Us?
There are several ways you can share your experiences with corporate pressures with us.
- Use our online corporate pressures reporting tool – a convenient way for you to share your experiences. Provide as much detail as you want, including attachments. Online form submissions are sent to us anonymously.
- File a report or a complaint – this is an important way for us to get the information we need to take action on these issues. Reports and complaints are not anonymous.
- Contact our Practice Consultants – if you have a practice related question or wish to see guidance on your own professional obligations and those of pharmacies, you can reach out to this team who can point you in the right direction.
The College will use the information we receive to track and look into concerns about corporate pressures that get in the way of pharmacy professionals’ ability to deliver the care they want to provide to their patients, or that negatively affect their personal well-being.
Committed to staying connected to the issues that matter
We will continue to look for input and feedback on your experiences and the types of corporate pressures you are facing. This will include opportunities to share information anonymously and ask questions of College leadership. Watch for information about upcoming town halls and surveys in e-Connect, on our website and on social media.
